UnivoxIP is provided by Univox, Inc., referred to in this policy as “UnivoxIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
This policy covers personal information handled through the UnivoxIP application, website, related services, and support interactions.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on your use of UnivoxIP, we collect contact details, account credentials and preferences, billing information, call and message records, device and network information, and support correspondence.
Information is supplied by you or generated through your interactions with our services.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate services, handle billing and support, improve reliability, send service notices and consented marketing, protect accounts, enforce service terms, and satisfy legal requirements.
3. App Permissions
UnivoxIP may request device permissions for features you use. Microphone access supports voice calling. Contact access, when requested and granted, supports contact-related features. Notification permissions support incoming-call, message, and other service alerts.
You can manage permissions through your device settings. Denying or withdrawing a permission may limit the corresponding feature.
Device permission settings do not, by themselves, delete information already associated with your service account. To request deletion, use the contact information below.
4. SMS and Text Communications
This section applies to SMS communications sent by UnivoxIP to you, rather than messages you exchange with other people using the app.
When you opt in, we use your number for the communications you requested, such as account updates, support follow-ups, or promotional messages. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose mobile numbers or SMS consent records to third parties for their own marketing.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may also email support@univoxip.com.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Disclosures may involve service providers, legal requirements, business ownership changes, or purposes you authorize.
Providers processing information on our behalf must protect it consistently with this policy and use it only for their contracted responsibilities.
For accounts supplied by an employer or communications provider, that organization may administer your account and the service records available to its authorized administrators. Its own policies may also apply to the information it manages.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for the time needed to deliver requested services, maintain necessary records, address security incidents and disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, its purpose, and the account’s service configuration.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Removing the UnivoxIP app from your device does not automatically close your service account or delete information maintained by us or your communications provider.
To request deletion, contact support@univoxip.com. For organization-managed accounts, we may need to coordinate with your account administrator. We will explain any applicable limitations on your request.
7. Security
We use safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No transmission or storage system is risk-free.
8. Website Cookies
Website cookies support functionality and usage analysis. You can manage cookies through browser controls.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information and complain to a privacy regulator.
Submit requests to support@univoxip.com. We may verify your identity or authority before responding to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure.
You can also withdraw marketing consent by using an email’s unsubscribe option, following the SMS instructions above, or contacting us. Device permissions can be changed separately in your device settings.
10. Children’s Privacy
UnivoxIP is not intended for children under 13. Contact us about suspected collection of children’s information.
11. Policy Updates
We publish revisions here and update the date above.
